The Oak Blokes
Lewis, Alex and Josh, a trio of traditional carpenters.
Lewis and Alex trained in traditional carpentry, honing their skills in the art of oak framing and the restoration of historic buildings. Josh joined them in 2018, and in 2020 the three of us officially established The Oak Blokes Ltd.
We’re based in West Sussex. We work as main contractor and on design and build projects, architects refer projects to us, and other building companies bring us in as a specialist building contractor.
Our mission has been clear from the beginning: to restore old buildings with the utmost care and respect, ensuring their historical significance is preserved for future generations.
